Get involved to help us in the fight against hunger and food waste in Greater Manchester.

Today, food poverty is on the rise across the country: furthermore, the story is no different in Greater Manchester.

  • Over 620,000 people in Greater Manchester are living in poverty;
  • Including 180,000 children and young people.

As a result, food insecurity and hunger are a shocking yet normal part of everyday life for thousands of individuals across the region every day.

At FareShare Greater Manchester, we resolve to fight hunger and food waste. We redistribute quality surplus food to over 220 charities and community groups across the region. Our goal is to ensure that meals goo those who need them most.

So find out below how you can support us through donating money to us, fundraising for us, becoming a corporate partner or joining us in our Together We Can: 7 Million Meals campaign. Your support helps us to continue to provide schools, charities and community groups with vital meals to those in need.

Every pound you donate helps us provide four meals for people in need across Greater Manchester

Above all, we welcome your support: donate to FareShare Greater Manchester (part of EMERGE 3Rs)
