Office and Core Services Co-ordinator:

FareShare GM is a part of the charity EMERGE 3Rs. They are currently recruiting for an Office and Core Services Co-ordinator. This role will be the central point of contact for all staff, coordinating and overseeing general office admin. Also, ensuring processes across the office flow efficiently. You will work closely with the senior managers who lead our Core Services (e.g. Finance, HR, Volunteering, FareShare GM, and Recycling) which requires a clear understanding of, and support for, our business and its aims.

We are looking for an experienced office co-ordinator/or administrator who can turn their hand to whatever needs to be done: from providing the first line of IT support to onsite and staff working remotely, to co-ordinating senior manager meetings (including note-taking and following up on actions), to setting up inductions for new staff and keeping the office environment and communal areas clean and safe. You’ll be the first point of contact for visitors, and will make sure the team have the resources they need to work effectively.

Your strong communication skills, can-do attitude, exceptional approach to customer service, and ability to juggle and prioritize throughout the day will help you make a success of this key position in our teams.

This role is a 30 hour per week role.

FareShare is the only charity to take food from the wholesale level of the food industry

The vast majority of surplus occurs before food even gets to the supermarket. Each FareShare regional centre takes that food and redistributes to those in need. FareShare Go is our supermarket collection service, which deals with supermarket-level surplus.
