Dukinfield Pantry is a local community pantry offering essential food items to people in need.
With the motto “Prevent Food Poverty & Reduce Food Waste”, the pantry provides chilled, fresh, frozen and dried goods. It supports those facing difficult times and continues to support them beyond immediate need. Dukinfield Pantry has been a Community Food Member of FareShare Greater Manchester for nearly a decade.
Customers pay just £4.50 for a full bag of food. Optional add-ons are available for 50p, £1, or £2. Each bag contains groceries worth between £20–30, offering real value for those on a tight budget.
Located at 2 Wellington Parade in Dukinfield, the pantry welcomes everyone — from working families to OAPs and benefit claimants. It operates every Tuesday from 9:30am to 12 noon, or until food supplies run low. The volunteer team, made up of local mums with school-aged children, start after the morning school run.
